Logan’s Sunny Days
Logan’s Fund would like to welcome you and your family and friends to Logan’s Sunny Days. Logan’s Sunny Days is our deluxe static caravan respite facility situated at Lossiemouth Bay Caravan Park right on the stunning East Beach looking out onto the waters of the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland.
The holiday facility is available for any family affected by childhood cancer, so if your child is about to undergo or is currently undergoing treatment, in remission or you are a bereaved family and a break would help in some way then we would love to hear from you.
Our bookings are from Saturday to Saturday and our caravan can sleep up to six people. We do appreciate that due to circumstances some families will not be able to stay for a whole week so we are happy if you can come for even just two or three days.
Please let us know about any special requirements (e.g. high chair, travel cot etc.) and we will do our very best to cater for you. Also let us know of any hobbies, interests or things you and your family would love to do while here and we will provide information ready for you arriving.
Lossiemouth and the greater Moray area where our charity is based is beautiful and as well as having lots to see and do it is also a peaceful part of the world that will appreciate during their special stay.
While treatment is still ongoing for your child it is important that seek permission from your child’s consultant/doctor regarding the trip. It is also important that you bring with you details of your child’s medical situation including medication and allergies. It is strongly suggested you do the same for any of the other guest who may have health issues.
“It’s been brilliant. It’s hard to describe. It’s like being a normal family. It’s the first time we’ve all been together since she went into hospital. It’s just been us as a family, enjoying the simple things and it’s been fantastic. Not to mention the amazing things that have been organised for us by the wonderful people from Logan’s Fund and Eileidh has loved it. She never stopped smiling. She was just so happy and she’s been treated like a princess. It’s the happiest she’s been in a long time.”
Gail Paterson, Mum of Eileidh, Logan’s Sunny Days first guests.
“Logan’s Fund are a fantastic charity very close to my heart. They gave us the chance to have a week of fun and normality together as a family which would we could not otherwise have had. From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family and left feeling like we had made lifelong friends. This is a charity that genuinely cares and I cannot express how much they have helped us, I hope they can continue to help many more families in situations like ours.”
Lynne Ross, Mum of Claire, Logan’s Sunny Days 2nd visitors.
