10 year old Abbie Ross from Dunecht, along with her Mum Lynne, will have their lovely long hair cut off in a sponsored cut for Logans Fund.
Their hair will then be donated to The Little Princess Trust who make wigs for children receiving cancer treatment.
Abbies sister Claire has a Craniophyringioma, which is a tumour that grows on the pituitary gland. She was diagnosed on 17th May 2013 after losing her sight in her left eye. She’s had biopsy and decompression of the tumor and an emergency VP shunt inserted as well as 6 weeks of Proton Beam Therapy in USA. Claire now has 3 monthly MRI’s to monitor tumour growth.
