Fundraising

YOU are the lifeblood of our charity. We are lucky to have so many people willing to undertake fundraising activities and organise events in order to raise vital funds to allow us to do the special things we do. 

But we always welcome new fundraising initiatives so if you would like to challenge yourself while raising sponsorship for Logan’s Fund we would love to hear from you.

We will support you in any way we can from giving you a sponsor forms, branded item of clothing, posters, official photos to use, helping with press contact, online promotion and helping set up an online fundraising page and if you have organised an actual event we can create an event page that directly links with Logan’s Fund Virgin Giving Page.

If you are thinking of organising an event or undertaking a fundraising challenge but unsure of making the commitment we can meet with you to go over all the things to consider to put your mind at ease. We can also come and do a presentation about our charity’s work and how to fundraise. 

Fundraising for a great cause like ours is an amazing thing and can take you on a journey of great self achievement and pride. Logan’s Fund like to help you complete that inspirational journey as we will arrange for those of you who go to the fantastic efforts of fundraising for us to meet a child we helped or visit a project we have running so they can experience first hand the incredible difference your fundraising makes.

Buckie High School Young Enterprise group ‘Nevada’ raised nearly £4000 for Logan’s Fund with their snowmannies initiative and met 7 year old Ehryn Andrews who collected the cheque on behalf of Logan’s Fund; “Meeting Ehryn and knowing she would benefit from the money we raised in our enterprise project was really great. Volunteering

If you would like to volunteer to help our charity continue to do the great work it does we would love to hear from you. Whether you are bringing bags of enthusiasm and a “what can I do” attitude or have a specific skill that you could use to help us, either way you will be doing something fulfilling and helping make a real difference to the lives of others. 

We are very fortunate to have the amazing support of a wide range of individuals, clubs, groups organisations & businesses who believe in what we do and help us in a whole range of ways. Volunteering can encompass a wide range of activities and can be anything you want it to be as long as it develops us and you in a positive way. 

For several years now Logan’s Fund have been very lucky to have been chosen as the nominated charity by several Young Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) groups from schools in our area. We are delighted to come and meet with any group that chooses us and give them an insight into our charity’s work and development. The group presentations never fail to inspire us and we have gone on to use some of the ideas that groups have developed for our own use.

One YPI student has gone on to volunteer for Logan’s Fund in order to attain the Duke of Edinburgh youth achievement award. We will do everything we can yo support you and help you achieve your goals.
